7. Lehigh River (Pennsylvania):  THREAT: Poorly deliberate growth

8. Chilkat and Klehini rivers (Alaska):  THREAT: Mining

9. Rio Gallinas (New Mexico):  THREAT: Local weather change, outdated forest and watershed administration
