35 members of Newbridge District Pike Anglers hit the banks final weekend for his or her first competitors of the season. They added a little bit of selection to the day by mixing canal venues with river venues to offer anglers a little bit of selection. Most anglers headed for the river swims and that proved to be the higher selection. One angler had a really productive day, touchdown 11 fish for over 49lb, whereas one other angler broke his PB with a nice fish of 19lb, the heaviest fish on the day.

General, 72 pike had been landed, a really creditable tally for the day. See Newbridge District Pike Anglers Facebook page for the complete report.
