Anthony Weir from Tulla and District Angling Club reviews that the membership had a hardy day on Clonlea on the weekend after they competed for the Kelly cup.

General it was powerful fishing all-round, with the one comfort for some that the rain stayed away till about 3pm.  There have been a couple of pike caught although with fish to 90cm recoded and something that was hooked was met within the the underside 10 foot of the lake.

Aidan got here in third with 140cm. Damien Shanahan got here in second with 210cm and gained the swimming pools with a very good 90cm pike. First place went to new member Greg Balicki with 340cm. A fantastic end result for Greg – his second competitors and second time on the rostrum.

The membership thanked Fishing Sort out Eire for sponsoring prizes.

Go fishing…

The subsequent match can be fishing on twenty third April from Ducies, Scariff (Lough Derg).
